Maine is for lovers
We rented a 12-pass van and headed north from the PWM airport, with wardrobe, gear, and too many coffees in tow. September had that perfect in-between feeling of crisp air, long shadows, and a hint of back-to-school nostalgia tucked somewhere in the brain. The drive felt like a mini movie with the windows down, finding the right playlists, and that slow shift from city noise to pine trees.
Our hotel sat on the edge of a tiny town. Its back windows overlooked a still lake where the fisherman boats had already docked for the night. There was no canvas like this, no heavy set dressing, just the natural calm of the Northeast doing its thing.
Lunch was lobster rolls and dinner was even more seafood.. really maximized our opportunity here! Who needed crafty? It was one of those shoots that reminds you why you fell in love with what you do. Definitely one for the books.
